Accompanist:     Joan Tracy
 

Joan Tracy attended the Hartt College of Music and graduated with a B.A. from the University of Hartford.  After college, she was the accompanist for West Orange High School before moving to Sussex County in 1976.  Joan has been the rehearsal accompanist for the Sussex County Oratorio Society since 1995.  She first worked with Al Kopacka in 1984; accompanying him for his voice recital.  When he became the music director in 1984 for Harmonium, a choral group in Morris County, he asked her to be the accompanist. She worked with him for 4 years there and continues to be the accompanist, and a singer, for Harmonium.  She has also accompanied the Sussex County Youth & Prep Orchestras, as well as the Suzuki Strings, since 1987.  She is a piano teacher and lives with her husband Paul at Cranberry Lake.  They have 2 daughters.
